Fuji’s new carbon fiber thread covers, available in sizes 17 and 19, are lightweight, visually striking, and perfectly complement the advanced design of the new TCH reel seats. As builders strive to create lighter weight rod builds and build more ergonomic and nimble custom fishing rods, Fuji has developed these Short Covers that allow builders to trim the edge of the reel seat even shorter but still have a carbon thread cover that fits perfectly. In addition, these covers were imaginatively designed with an EVA top cap that doubles as a built-in winding check, they create a smooth transition from the thread cover to the blank. Builders can leave the carbon raw for a matte finish or apply a rod finish for added gloss, and with the EVA cap left unglued, reaming is easier and cleaner with no risk of finish getting on the cap.
